This program now also provides you the option to travel to Columbus, Ohio for musculoskeletal (bone, joint and spine) procedures.
We Make it Easier for You
Traveling by air and going abroad is a first-time experience for many patients. IndusHealth prepares you for the experience and coordinates with travel and treatment providers who help simplify the process and adhere to prevailing safety and risk avoidance protocols.
Most procedures require a 5-to-10 day recovery stay after surgery. Arrangements are made for patients and their companions to stay at a full-service hotel or resort, all specifically equipped to cater to the needs of patients. Provisions are made for meals, nursing care and rehabilitation during the entire stay.

Schuster Member Benefit
Schuster offers eligible members the option to undergo certain surgeries abroad if proven to be cost effective. Such surgeries are covered with no out-of-pocket expenses (see note), including prearranged travel, hotel and meals. For many covered procedures, the patient may take a companion along at no expense.
NOTE: If you are enrolled in the Premier, Standard or Value Plan, your deductible and copays/coinsurance charges will be waived. If you are enrolled in the High Deductible Health Plan, you are responsible for your deductible and all copay/coinsurance charges.
