We Make it Easier for You

Traveling by air and going abroad is a first-time experience for many patients, and can seem daunting during the pandemic. IndusHealth not only prepares you for the experience, but also coordinates with travel and treatment providers who help simplify the process and adhere to prevailing safety and risk avoidance protocols.

Most procedures require a 5-to-10 day recovery stay after surgery. Arrangements are made for patients and their companions to stay at a full-service hotel or resort specifically equipped to cater to the needs of patients. Provisions are made for meals, nursing care and rehabilitation during the entire stay.

HSM Member Benefit

HSM offers eligible members the option to undergo certain surgeries abroad if proven to be cost effective. Such surgeries are covered with no out-of-pocket expenses, including prearranged travel, hotel and meals. For most procedures, the patient may take a companion along at no expense.

For several procedures available through this program, the net savings versus U.S. cost are shared with the employee at 20%, up to a maximum of $10,000 annually, subject to applicable payroll taxes.
